DENVER – The University of Denver women's soccer program will wrap-up a four-match road swing when the Pioneers take on Western Illinois on Sunday at 12 p.m. MT.

The Pioneers got a goal on either side of halftime from 
Kaitlyn Glover and 
Sydney Sharp to lead Denver to a 2-1 Summit League win over conference newcomers St. Thomas on Friday evening at South Field. Denver outshot UST 15-9, putting 10 of its 15 shots on target.
 
Denver vs. Western Illinois History:
Denver is 9-0-0 all-time against Western Illinois, including 3-0 in Macomb. In the nine meetings, the Pioneers have outscored the Leathernecks 23-1, including 6-0 in two meetings in Burlington, Iowa (indoor facility selected as Western Illinois' home games in the spring) earlier this year.
 
Notable Stats:
	- The Pioneers are 56-13-3 in the Summit League since joining the conference in 2013.
- Denver has scored 28 goals from 12 different players to start the 2021 season. Sharp leads the way with seven goals, followed by five from Glover.
- The Pioneers 12 different goal scorer's marks the most since 2013, when Denver had 13 different players find the back of the net. Denver's school record for different players to score in a season is 18 in the 2006 campaign.
- Career Points Record Update: Feller has 77 career points, putting her seventh in Denver's DI record book. Beckman has 72 career points, moving her into a tie for ninth.  
- Career Assists Record Update: Beckman has 36 career assists, moving her into a tie with Kristen Hamilton's and three assists off co-record holders Nicholette DiGiacomo and Jamie Norwood. Feller has 23 assists, good for eighth in Denver's DI record book.
- Career Goals Record Update: Feller has 27 career goals, good for eighth in Denver's DI history.
What's Next:
Denver returns home next weekend to host Kansas City and Oral Roberts. Kickoff against Kansas City is set for Friday at 4 p.m. MT.
