Last Time Out
North Carolina answered an early Denver goal with a 14-2 run, and never looked back to take a 24-13 victory over the Pioneers on Sunday morning. 
 
DI Series History
Denver holds a 22-2 edge over Air Force, having won each of the last 13 meetings between the two programs. Denver is 12-1 all-time at home, having not lost against the Falcons at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium since 2009. Denver won last year's meeting by a count of 13-7 at the Academy.

• Head coach Bill Tierney is in his 12th season with the Pioneers, holding a 137-45 record at DU and a 409-138 career record in his 37th season.
• Denver is tied for fifth in senior class wins (2017-21) with 41, nine behind national leaders Duke.
• Yale transfer Jackson Morrill has recorded a point in 59-straight games, recording 218 points (112-108) during the stretch.
• Ethan Walker has scored a goal in 22 straight games, recording 84 points in the stretch (60-24).
• The 2021 Denver Pioneers have players from 18 different states across the country.
  • Since turning Division I ahead of the 1999 season, the Pioneers have had players from 32 different states.
• Ethan Walker is second in career points with 228, 27 points behind Wes Berg for the program record.
  • Walker is also third in goals with 149 (39 behind Berg) and fourth in assists with 79 (three behind Demopoulos).

What's Next
The University of Denver men's lacrosse program, presented by Your Front Range Toyota Stores will open BIG EAST play next Saturday when the Pioneers head to Marquette. Faceoff is set for 10 a.m. MT.
