Denver opened Summit League play with a sweep of Western Illinois last weekend, defeating the Leathernecks 2-0 and 4-0 to move to the top of the very early Summit League table. Forward

Natalie Beckman each had two goals and an assist in the opening weekend of league play. Denver limited Western Illinois to just two shots on goal in the 180 minute weekend.
DI Series History:
Denver and Oral Roberts have split the series 3-3-1 through the first seven matches. Oral Roberts and Denver split the points 1-1 last year in Tulsa, putting a stop on Denver's two straight wins in the series (3-0, 1-0).
Camryn MacMillan and Feller have both scored goals against the Golden Eagles in the series.
Last Meeting:
Oral Roberts 1-1 Denver
MacMillan answered a first half Oral Roberts goal with her second tally of the season early in the second half to earn Denver a point on the road in last year's meeting. Denver outshot Oral Roberts 15-4, including 5-1 on target, and took seven of the nine corner kicks in the match.
What's Next:
Denver will remain home next weekend to take on South Dakota in a two-match series.
Other Notes:
- Jeff Hooker will return to coaching the squad after missing the last two matches due to family reasons.
- Denver allowed zero shots on goal in last Friday's match against Western Illinois, the 24th time Denver has done that in its Division I history (24-0-0).
- The Pioneers also held Western Illinois to just four total shots in the match, improving to 102-7-4 when holding their opponent to five shots or less.
- Feller's game-winner was the eighth of her career, moving her into a tie for 12th in Denver's DI career record book.
- Feller's opener was the fourth-fastest goal in Denver's DI history
