Salt Lake City, Utah - The Denver Pioneers men's tennis team won its fifth straight match with a 4-3 victory against Utah on Sunday in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Utes won a tightly-contested doubles point that featured two tiebreakers.

Peter Sallay won 7-6 (5) at #2 for their second win as a tandem, but No. 42

James Davis were edged 7-6 (4) at #1 and
Nicolas Herrero Cuesta/
Ignacio Rivero Crespo fell 6-4 at #3 to surrender the team point.

Singles
Sallay tied the match 1-1 with his fifth straight singles win, a 7-6 (2), 6-2 victory at #4. Davis,
Daniel Krulig and Summers followed up to make Denver victorious. Davis came from behind to win 4-6, 6-1, 6-1 at #2 for his sixth straight win, Krulig won his match in straight sets 7-5, 7-6 (8) at #6 and Summers capped the match with his fifth consecutive victory, a 6-1, 5-7, 6-2 win at #3.
