Denver overcame a slow start with eight second half goals to turn a two-goal halftime deficit into a one-goal win on Saturday afternoon at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium.
 
DI Series History
Duke holds an 8-6 edge in the series, including a 5-1 record in Durham. In the previous 14 meetings, Duke and Denver have each had two three-game winning streaks. Duke won three-straight from 2003-07 and currently is on a three-game winning streak, while the Pioneers won three-straight from 2011-13 and 2015-17.

• Head coach Bill Tierney is in his 12th season with the Pioneers, holding a 137-43 record at DU and a 409-136 career record in his 37th season.
• Denver is tied for fourth in senior class wins (2017-21) with 41, seven behind national leaders Duke.
