ASPEN – The University of Denver skiing team picked up 136 points in the men's and women's freestyle sprints at Aspen High School at the Spencer James Nelson Memorial Invitational on Friday. The men's squad picked up 71 points while the women had 65 points.
Significant Stats:

Bernhard Flaschberger led the way again on the men's side, taking sixth place (27 points).

Borgar Norrud finished eighth in the event, generating 23 points.

Jimmy Colfer recorded a 12th-place finish.
- On the women's side,
Vera Norli paced the Pioneers, placing eighth in the field (25 points).

Gracie Shanley took 13th (21 points) on the day.

Sadie Cotton closed out her day in 16th (19 points).
- DU sits in seventh place as a team with 153 points though six races.
