ASPEN – The University of Denver skiing team wrapped up the Spencer James Nelson Memorial Invitational on Saturday, jumping up two spots to finish fifth in the team standings. The Pioneers scored 136 points in the women's and men's 5/10K classical.
Significant Stats:

Bernhard Flaschberger placed sixth (27 points) in the men's 10K classical.

Borgar Norrud finished three spots behind Flashberger, taking ninth (22 points).

Ole Marius Kirkeng placed 13th (19 points) on Saturday on the men's side.
- On the women's side,
Vera Norli again picked up another top-five finish, taking fifth (29 points) in the 5K classical.

Emma Larsson took 14th.
-
Gracie Shanley (16th) and
Sadie Cotton (17th) each competed in the 5K classical.
- DU finished the eight-race event with 289 points.
