Solem Ties for Third as Pios Finish Up at Lamkin San Diego Classic

Senior finishes tournament at 2-under
SAN DIEGO – The University of Denver men's golf closed out the Lamkin San Diego Classic on Wednesday, taking 13th in the deep and talented field. The Pioneers a final-round total 298 (10-over), bringing its total to 896.
Course Info:
- San Diego Country Club
- Par 72 for the course
- 7,033 yards
Significant Stats:
- UCLA took home the team title with a score of 4-over
- Jackson Solem had the best finish of the year for a DU player, tying for third at 2-under.
Inside the Round for the Pioneers:
- Solem kept pressure on the leaders all day, keeping in the hunt until the end. The senior shot a 2-over on the round.
- Carson Griggs moved up three spots to finish up in 55th.
- Esteban Missura wrapped up his tournament in a tie for 62nd.
- Cal McCoy tied for 92nd.
- Connor Jones finished up in 107th.
