SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – University of Denver men's golf junior Cal McCoy was named Summit League Men's Golfer of the Week in a release by the league on Wednesday.
This marks the third time in his career that the Highlands Ranch native has won the award, the first this season.

McCoy was the Pioneers' leader at BYU Ping Cougar Classic this past week, which concluded last Saturday. The junior posted a score of 6-under in 54 holes, giving him his best finish of the year, tying for 12th. McCoy posted back-to-back rounds of 69 to close out the tournament.  

The Pioneers look to defend their crown for the first time since 2019 at the Summit League Championship this weekend in Newton, Kan.
