Denver fell to Georgetown 10-9 in the 2021 BIG EAST Final in Providence, R.I.
 
DI Series History
Denver is 3-3 all-time against Loyola, last meeting the Greyhounds in an ECAC regular season contest in Baltimore, a game the Pioneers won 13-12 in overtime. Denver won the first two conference match-ups between the two programs in 2010 and 2011, before Loyola beat Denver three times (ECAC regular season, ECAC Semifinal and NCAA Quarterfinal) in 2012.
