Zanusso Climbs Leader Board on Day Two at NCAA Championship

Sophomore shoots 72, moves up 34 spots on Saturday
SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. – University of Denver women's golf sophomore Anna Zanusso made a big move on Saturday, climbing 34 spots in round two of the NCAA Championship. The Italy native fired a second-round 72 on the day to finish up tied for 40th.

- Second-ranked Rachel Heck of No. 6 Stanford leads the field at 8-under through 36 holes of play.
- The Cardinal also took command of the team leader board, now leading at 7-under.

- Zanusso opened with a 2-over going out on the afternoon.
- The back nine for Zanusso is where she came alive, going 2-under during that stretch.
- Zanusso continues to own the par 5s at the tournament, shooting 2-under on those holes.
