ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – University of Denver junior Anna Zanusso got her season off to the right start finishing tied for sixth at the Dick McGuire Invitational on Tuesday. The Pioneers as a team placed 11th with a three-round total of 887 (23-over).

Significant Stats:
- Brigham Young took home the team title at 6-under.
- Kaleiya Romero of Pepperdine won individualist medalist honors after winning a playoff hole at 10-under.
- Zanusso took advantage of the Par 3s, shooting 2-under in the three rounds, fourth lowest total in the field.

Inside the Round for the Pioneers:
- Alyson Bean tied for 38th at 7-over.
- Anna Krekling tied for 48th at 9-over.
- Erika Danielsson wrapped her first event of the year tied for 72nd.
- Trussy Li tied for 78th.
