KANSAS CITY – The University of Denver Volleyball team sent a message across the Summit League, sweeping Kansas City (26-24, 25-22, 25-18) in a battle for league supremacy on Tuesday. The Pioneers improved their record to 12-1 (3-0 SL) with the victory.

- Hailey Green and Erica Andrich each had a team-high 11 kills.
- DU held the Roos to just a .167 hitting percentage.
- Pioneers recorded nine total blocks, the fourth time this year they have done it.
- The Crimson and Gold posted a +.300 hitting percentage for the eighth time this year, resulting in an 8-0 record.

A 5-0 run to comeback and close out the first set.
1st Set
The Pioneers set the tone for the night with the comeback victory to take the set 26-24. DU had it going on the offensive end, posting a .361 hitting percentage that resulted in 16 kills and only three attack errors. Denver made its big mark around the net, recording six total blocks.
2nd Set
Denver again dialed it up late in the set, closing out the set with three straight points to take it 25-22. Stats from the set were each team picking up 15 kills, while the Crimson and Gold picked up its two service aces.
3rd Set
DU saved its best for last in the third set, taking it 25-18. Denver posted a .353 hitting percentage while just holding KC to a .161 hitting percentage.
