WOLCOTT, COLO. – Despite some tough weather conditions, the University of Denver Women's Golf team rose up to take second at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic on Tuesday. Junior
Anna Krekling was the star of the tournament, picking up her first collegiate win with a two-round score of 6-under.

Significant Stats:
- East Tennessee State won the team title at 6-under.
- The Pioneers second-place finish of 5-under marked it best one of the season.
- The Crimson and Gold's runner-up finish is the best it has had at the tournament since winning it back in 2017.
- DU ranked first in the par 4s with a 4.1 average.
Inside the Round for the Pioneers:
- Krekling was steady and in control on the round, firing a 72.

Alyson Bean tied for 10th at 1-under.

Anna Zanusso jumped up 29 spots on the final round, finishing tied for 13th at even par.

Katarina Drocarova tied for 29th at 2-over.

Clara Gestsdottir closed out the tournament at 9-over.
