LAST TIME OUT:
Denver topped Omaha 2-0 at home on October 8 in its only match of the weekend, earning a game winner from senior Kaitlyn Glover in the 18^th minute.
 
QUICK HITS:

• Glover has scored three times across DU's last two matches (twice at South Dakota on October 2, once against Omaha on October 8).
• Seven different Pioneers have accounted for all seven of Denver's game winners in 2022.
• Junior Addisyn Hyrup leads DU's defenders with four points on the season including the game winner at South Dakota and an assist Glover's goal against last weekend.
• For the fourth time this season, Denver did not allow a first-half shot to an opponent when it played Omaha on October 8.
• Denver head coach Jeff Hooker collected his 400^th win as the DU Women's Soccer head coach on October 8. He also served as the DU men's coach in 1996-97 and earned 20 more wins.

SCOUTING THE LEATHERNECKS:
Western Illinois dropped a 4-1 match at home against South Dakota State on October 9 with Angie Knies having WIU's only goal. Amy Andrews leads the Summit League in shots (56) and is tied for the League lead in goals (eight).
 
DU is 10-0-0 all-time against Western Illinois including nine shutout victories. The teams last met in Denver on October 10, 2019, in a 3-0 win for DU. This will be their fifth meeting overall in Denver.

DU wraps up its regular-season home schedule with Senior Day on Sunday, October 16, against St. Thomas. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. MT.
