WHAT: DU's Senior Day and final regular-season home match
WHERE: University of Denver Soccer Stadium (Denver, Colorado)
WHEN: Sunday, October 16, at 12 p.m. MT

LAST TIME OUT:
Denver scored four second-half goals to shutout Western Illinois 4-0 on Friday, led by two goals including the game winner from sophomore Jadyn Goodrich. Senior Kaitlyn Glover had three assists, tied for the second most in a single match in DU history. In total, Denver tallied eight assists, which was just one shy of the program record.

DU's first two goals were just 35 seconds apart (Goodrich at 66:28 and graduate student Sami Feller at 67:03), marking the sixth fastest consecutive goals in program history.

QUICK HITS:
  • Denver is 6-0-1 at home this season and has allowed only one goal at home (Arizona State on August 28).
  • DU's 17 shots on Friday were the team's second most this year, behind only its 24 against North Dakota on September 25.
  • The Pioneers are looking to finish with wins in all of its Summit League regular-season home matches for the first time since the 2020 season and for the fifth time overall.
  • DU will recognize its four seniors for Senior Day: Hannah Gallegos, Glover, Shweta Raje and Sydney Sharp. As a class, they enter Sunday with a 50-17-11 overall record including 34-1-4 in the Summit League.
    • They have also won the Summit League regular-season title in each of their first three seasons and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2020.
SCOUTING THE TOMMIES:
St. Thomas lost 2-1 at Omaha on Friday after conceding two goals in the first seven minutes of play. Mariah Nguyen scored in the 15th minute to begin the comeback, but the Tommies did not find the equalizer.

This will be only the second match between Denver and St. Thomas with DU winning their first meeting 2-1 at UST on October 8, 2021. St. Thomas is in just its second season as a Division I program.

WHAT'S NEXT:
DU begins its final week of the regular season with a trip to Oral Roberts on Friday, October 21, at 7 p.m. CT/6 p.m. MT.
