WHAT: Penultimate match of the regular season

Denver scored four unanswered goals to win 4-1 over St. Thomas in its final regular-season home match of the year on October 16. Graduate student Sami Feller had the 38th-minute equalizer while fellow graduate student Camryn MacMillan scored the game winner in the 55th minute.

Sophomore Ella Frost added a goal on DU's second penalty kick of the year, and junior McKenna Dannenhauer scored her second of the season.

QUICK HITS:
  • With its win over St. Thomas on Sunday, DU secured one of the top two seeds for the Summit League Tournament. A Denver win over Oral Roberts AND a loss or tie by South Dakota State on Friday will clinch the No. 1 seed for DU for the fourth year in a row.
  • Feller earned the 100th point of her career with her goal against St. Thomas and now sits with the fifth most in DU history.
  • Feller also moved up the DU record books with the second most career matches played (93) and career matches started (88).
  • Redshirt senior Nerea Arrazola moved into a tie for fourth most goalkeeper wins (40) with DU's win on Sunday.
  • Senior Kaitlyn Glover has had a match-best five shots in the last two games and in three of the last four for Denver.
SCOUTING THE GOLDEN EAGLES:
Oral Roberts earned a 49th-minute equalizer from Samantha Guzman but ultimately lost 2-1 at South Dakota on October 16. Guzman ranks in the top 10 in the conference for shots, goals and points while teammate Samantha See has the Summit League's second most shots and shots on goal.

Denver is 6-3-1 all-time against Oral Roberts, winning their last three matches. The last time DU traveled to ORU, the match finished in a 1-1 draw in extra time.

WHAT'S NEXT:
DU concludes its regular season with a trip to Kansas City on Sunday, October 23, at 1 p.m. CT/ 12 p.m. MT.
