LAS VEGAS – The University of Denver men's and women's swimming and diving programs closed out a two-meet weekend in Las Vegas with a double dual against UNLV and Cal Baptist on Saturday afternoon at Jim Reitz Pool.
Olivia Gordon earned an NCAA Zone Standard,
Jessica Maeda picked up wins two and three on the weekend and
Dan Kunin got a victory in the men's 200 fly to highlight Saturday's action.

Diving Highlights:
The Denver divers were in the water on Friday night with the scores reflecting in Saturday afternoon's meet.
Kaelyn Hinesley took third in the 1-meter to lead the way for the Denver women with a score of 249.20 to get a spot on the podium. On the men's side on the same board,
Jon Brouillette scored a 292.05 to earn a third-place finish.
Gordon earned an event win for the Pioneers, taking the three-meter title with a 300.40. Gordon's score was good enough for an NCAA Zone Qualifying Standard on the three-meter board, joining Hinesley's one-meter performance last week as Denver's two qualifiers so far.
Swimming Highlights:
Denver opened the meet with a second-place finish in the women's 400 medley relay.
Ali Beay,
Jessica Maeda,
Mia Moulden and
Ines Marin combined for a time of 3:52.39.
Nika Spehar got Denver going on the individual event side with a third-place finish in the 1000 free. Spehar finished the distance race in a time of 10:39.46.
Riley Babson,
Joseph Purdy and
Connor Hughes finished second, third and fourth, respectively, with times of 9:40.65, 9:41.25 and 9:42.15, respectively.
Ali Beay got the Denver women back on the podium with a second-place finish in 57.86.
Jessica Maeda and
Sophia Bricker took second and third in the women's 100 breast to pad the Pioneers lead. The duo finished in times of 1:04.48 and 1:05.24, respectively.
The Denver men took spots 2-4 in the 100 breast on Saturday afternoon.
Kelby Modene clocked in at 58.28 to take second,
Alex Lynch finished in third with a time of 58.68 and
Marco Nosack finished fourth in 58.83.
Daniela Alfaro finished in 2:08.58 to take third in the 200 fly, to take Denver's spot on the podium in the event.
Dan Kunin continued his impressive weekend in the 200 fly, taking the event with a time of 1:53.49.
Brandon Chapman was right behind his teammate, taking second with a 1:55.39.
In the women's 50 free,
Erika Remington got a spot for the Pio women on the podium, reaching the wall in third with a time of 24.04. On the men's side,
Donat Fabian finished third in the 50 with a 21.80.
Dylan Wright got the Denver men back on the podium a few events later with a third-place finish in the 200 back. Fabian reached the wall in 1:51.28.
Jessica Maeda continued her hot start to the season with a win in the 200 breast
, clocking in at 2:19.44.
Denver's men took spots 2-4 once again in the 200 breast. Lynch led the breaststroke trio this time with a 2:05.66. Purdy took third in 2:08.88 and Nosack finished fourth with a 2:09.35.
Babson got another podium finish in a distance race, taking second in the 500 free with a 4:39.14.
Maeda picked up another win on Saturday, this time in the 200 IM, taking the event with a 2:07.30.
Kunin got another podium place in the men's 200 IM, finishing third with a 1:56.66.
