LAST TIME OUT:
Denver wrapped up its regular season with an eighth clean sheet following a 2-0 win at Kansas City on October 23. Senior Kaitlyn Glover netted her third game winner of the season and her second in as many matches with a 38th minute goal, and graduate student Camryn MacMillan scored her team-high eighth goal less than two minutes into the second half.

With its win at Kansas City, Denver clinched its seventh Summit League regular-season title and the No. 1 seed for the 2022 Summit League Tournament. As one of the top two seeds, DU received a bye in the quarterfinals, played on Friday, October 28.

QUICK HITS:
  • For the fifth straight season, DU won at least a share of the Summit League regular season title and its third consecutive No. 1 seed for the league tournament.
  • Denver finished undefeated in Summit League play for the fourth time since joining the League in 2013.
  • DU captured three of the six annual individual awards from the Summit League and placed nine on the All-Summit League Teams:
    • For the second year in a row, graduate student Devan McSwain and head coach Jeff Hooker were named Defensive Player of the Year and Coach of the Year, respectively.
    • Graduate student Sami Feller was named Midfielder of the Year in the award's first season and landed on the All-League First Team for the fifth time in her career.
    • Glover and MacMillan joined Feller and McSwain on the first team. Redshirt senior Nerea Arrazola, sophomore Riley Baker and juniors Jordan Crockett and Addisyn Hyrup earned second-team honors while senior Hannah Gallegos collected an honorable mention nod.
  • Glover's two game winners during the final weekend of the regular season earned her Summit League Offensive Peak Performer of the Week honors.
  • Eight of Denver's 11 wins so far in 2022 have come in shutouts. Arrazola is credited with seven of them, moving her into sole possession of fourth most in DU history.
SCOUTING THE GOLDEN EAGLES:
No. 4 Oral Roberts advanced to the semifinals with a 2-1 win in overtime over No. 5 North Dakota State. Samantha See had both of ORU's goals, opening scoring in the 32nd minute and adding the game winner in the 106th minute.

Denver is 7-3-1 all-time against Oral Roberts after a 5-1 win in the teams' regular-season meeting. Five different Pioneers scored in that October 21 meeting and three more added assists. ORU's only goal was on a penalty kick.

This will be only the second meeting between Denver and Oral Roberts in the Summit League Tournament, the first a 1-0 win for DU in the 2017 semifinals in Fargo, North Dakota.
