[14/16] Pios Begin Two-Game Home Weekend with [19/13] Jacksonville

The Pioneers will take on Jacksonville Saturday before battling Canisius Sunday

DENVER – The [14/16] University of Denver men's lacrosse program, presented by Your Hometown Toyota Stores, will begin a two-game weekend at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium when the Pioneers host [19/13] Jacksonville on Saturday at 12 p.m. MT.

DI Series History vs. Jacksonville
The Pioneers and Dolphins are 1-1 in the series history between the two programs. Denver won the meeting at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium 20-8 in March of 2011, a year after dropping a triple overtime thriller in Jacksonville in 2010.
 
Last Meeting vs. Jacksonville
Mark Matthews had eight points and Alex Demopoulos had seven as the Pioneers defeated Jacksonville 20-8 in 2011 at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium. Saturday's Altitude analyst Eric Law added three points for the Pios . FULL RECAP
