PEORIA, Ariz.  – The University of Denver Women's Golf team turned in its best round of the season on Monday, firing a 7-under (281) in the final round of the Westbrook Invitational. The Pioneers moved up six spots on the day, taking fifth as a team with a three-round total of 864 (even par).

- Par 72
- 6,230 yards
- 81 Players
- 14 teams

Significant Stats:
- No. 35 Mississippi State won the event at 13-under, two strokes ahead of Nebraska.
- Julia Lopez Ramirez of Mississippi State took home individual medalist honors at 11-under, a three-shot advantage over the next closest competitor.
- The Crimson and Gold recorded eight head-to-head wins over Power-5 schools for the tournament.

Inside the Round for the Pioneers:
- Anna Zanusso had her best finish of the season on Monday, tying for fourth at 6-under (216). The Italy native had her best round of the tournament when it mattered most, posting a 4-under 68 on the final day of play.
- Emma Bryant wrapped up her best tournament of her young collegiate career, tying for 15th at 2-under (214).  
- Anna Krekling jumped up 33 spots on the leader board in her final round with a 4-under 68, bringing her two-day total to 3-over (219), good for a tie for 30th.
- Alyson Bean closed out her day tied for 52nd.
- Katarina Drocarova finished up tied for 61st.  
 
Up Next:
Denver heads south to Gainesville for the Florida Gator Invitational this upcoming weekend. Round one and two set for set for Saturday.
