Denver Takes on Top-Seeded South Dakota State Saturday at 11:30 a.m. MT

The winner of Saturday’s quarterfinal will take on the winner of Oral Roberts and North Dakota Monday at 11:30 a.m. MT

DENVER  – The University of Denver women's basketball opens its postseason on Saturday when the eighth-seeded Pioneers take on top-seeded South Dakota State at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. CT/11:30 a.m. MT.

Last Time Out:
Denver got a balanced scoring effort led by 18 points from Meghan Boyd, and hit 11 triples as a team to defeat Western Illinois 77-55 last Saturday afternoon inside Hamilton Gymnasium. The Pioneers' 22-point margin of victory was its biggest in a Summit League game under second-year head coach Doshia Woods. FULL RECAP
 
Series History:
Denver is 2-15 in its Division I history against South Dakota State. Denver's last win in the series came in February of 2020, a 72-62 win in Brookings for the Pioneers. Denver and SDSU have met in the Summit League Tournament once, a first round match-up in 2015 (SDSU won 79-61).
