Yale raced out to an early 4-1 lead and scored four goals in each quarter, but despite Denver getting back to within one twice in the second half the Bulldogs pulled out a 16-13 win at PBLS.

DI Series History vs. Ohio State
The Pioneers and Buckeyes have split the series 12-12 in Denver's DI era. Denver and OSU have not met since 2018, a 12-7 win for Denver at PBLS. In 2019, Denver's flight was canceled due to a "bomb cyclone" snow storm in the Denver area. In 2020, Denver and Ohio State was the first game cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, the Big Ten opted to play a conference-only double round robin schedule.

Denver is back to Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium next weekend when the Pioneers welcome Towson to PBLS. Faceoff is set for 12 p.m. MT and will be broadcast live on Altitude TV and ESPN Denver 1600.
