Arky Finishes Up at NCAA Championships

Highlands Ranch native wraps up first NCAA Championship appearance on Saturday
ATLANTA, Ga. – University of Denver redshirt junior Natalie Arky finished up at the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships. The Highlands Ranch native competed in the 100 back and 200 back on Friday and Saturday.
On Friday, Arky posted a time of 53.19, 1.35 seconds off the final qualifying time in the 100 back.
The top 16 swimmers advanced to the finals, which later competed in the night session. North Carolina State's Katharine Berkhoff was crowned the national champion after setting an NCAA record 48.74 time in the finals.
Saturday saw the Colorado native close out her best season as a Pioneer, after finishing the 200 back prelims with a time of 1:55.63.
DU will return in the fall in preparation for the 2022-23 season.
