MONTGOMERY, TEXAS – The University of Denver men's golf team closed at two rounds of play on Monday at the Bayou City Collegiate Classic. The Pioneers sit in seventh at 24-over (308-292).

-Sam Houston and Florida Atlantic are tied for the lead after two rounds at 11-over.
- On the individual leader board, the Owls' Alex Maguire holds the top spot at 5-under, a three-stroke advantage over the field.
- The Pioneers second-round total of 4-over was a 16-shot improvement over their opening round.
Inside the Round for the Pioneers:

Esteban Missura led the Pioneers on day one, finishing tied for 13th at 3-over, highlighted by a 2-under 71 on the afternoon round.

Jun Ho Won was steady at 5-over in his rounds. The senior opened with a 75 before following it up with a 74 in round two, putting him in a tie for 20th.

Alex Gibalevich wrapped up his opening day tied for 51st at 10-over.

Carson Griggs tied for 57th at 12-over.

Jackson Solem sits tied for 71st.
