EL MACERO, CALIF. – The University of Denver men's golf team closed out the El Macero Classic on Friday. The Pioneers finished seventh with a team score of 6-over (870).

Significant Stats:
- Fresno State took the team title with a score of 7-under, one stroke ahead of the Long Beach State.
- On the individual leader board, UC Davis' Thomas Hutchinson won individual medalist honors at 8-under.
Inside the Round for the Pioneers:

Jun Ho Won was the highest finisher for the Crimson and Gold, tying for 17th at 2-under (214) in his three days.

John Sand made a move on the final day of action, jumping up 12 spots to finish tied for 21st at even par.

Esteban Missura ended his tournament tied for 30th at 3-over (219).

Carson Griggs tied for 57th at 9-over (225).

Jackson Solem wrapped up the tournament tied for 74th.

Alex Gibalevich, competing as an individual, moved up seven spots to take 77th.
