NEWTON, Kan. – The University of Denver women's golf team took its game to another level on Monday, separating from the field on day two at the Summit League Championship. The Pioneers fired a team score of 3-under (285) for the round, bringing its two-round total to 577 (1-over).

Significant Stats:
- Denver holds a 17-shot lead over the field.
- The Pioneers have the top three individual players in
Anna Zanusso (7-under),
Anna Krekling (E) and
Clara Gestsdottir (2-over).
- Zanusso continues her tear of the course, posting her second sub-70 round with a 69 on the day. The junior is closing in on tournament history, needing just an 80 tomorrow to tie the 54-hole record.
- The Crimson and Gold's birdie total of 30 are the most through 36 holes of play.
- DU's 3-under total on Monday was the low round of the tournament so far.
Inside the Round for the Pioneers:
- Zanusso's 69 was her fifth round in the 60s this season. She currently holds a seven-shot lead over teammate Krekling.
- Krekling continued to her solid play, posting a 72 for a second straight round of even par.
- Gestsdottir dialed it up on the round, firing a 71 on the afternoon, putting her two-day total at 2-over.

Alyson Bean tied for ninth after 36 holes at 6-over, moving up seven spots on the individual leader board.
