
School-Record 10 Programs Earn Perfect APR Scores for 2020-21

The Pioneers had 10 of their 17 eligible programs earn perfect Academic Progress Rate scores in 2020-21
INDIANAPOLIS (DU/NCAA) – The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) released its annual Academic Progress Rate report on Tuesday, with a school-record 10 University of Denver programs receiving a perfect score of 1,000 for the 2020-21 academic year.
In 2020-21, men's golf, women's tennis, women's skiing, women's golf, women's soccer, men's skiing, men's tennis, women's swimming and diving, women's volleyball and hockey all earned perfect single-season APR scores.
Although the Public Recognition Award for success in multi-year APR has been suspended, Denver had five programs earn perfect scores in multi-year APR that includes 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21 academic years. The five perfect multi-year programs were men's golf, men's tennis, women's skiing, women's soccer and women's tennis.

The APR is an annual scorecard of academic achievement calculated for all Division I sports teams.
APR measures eligibility, graduation and retention each semester or academic term and provides a clear picture of the academic performance for each team in every sport.
