DENVER – University of Denver hockey will have up to 19 players affiliated with the program attending 2022 NHL Prospect Development Camps, which begin this week across the league.
The Pioneers have five players who are attending camps as invites, with returning defenseman
Justin Lee at the Arizona Coyotes and goaltender
Jack Caruso at the St. Louis Blues. Paxton Geisel, a DU 2023-24 committed freshman, will be at the Colorado Avalanche's camp while fellow 2023 commit Samuel Harris will be in Florida with the Panthers.

Cameron Wright will also be attending the Avs camp in Denver with Geisel as an invitee, skating alongside sophomore defenseman
Sean Behrens, who was selected in the second round of the 2021 draft by Colorado. DU head coach
David Carle is serving as a guest coach this week with the Avalanche at its development camp.
Denver's 2022-23 incoming freshmen Miko Matikka (Arizona), Samu Salminen (New Jersey) and Aidan Thompson (Chicago) will be at the prospect camps of the teams that drafted them over the last two years, with Matikka and Thompson joining their respective organizations after being chosen in last week's draft.
Tristan Broz, who is joining DU after spending his freshman campaign last year at Minnesota, will be at the Pittsburgh Penguins camp as he was drafted 58th overall by the club in 2021.
Below is a full list of Pioneers at development camps, with more possibly being added when all NHL clubs announce their rosters. Most camps are this week, but some will also be later in the month.
