QUICK HITS:
- Redshirt senior Nerea Arrazola earned the 21st shutout of her career in Thursday's match, which moved her within four of fourth place in Denver's Division I history.
- For the 28th time in program history, DU didn't allow a shot from its opponent.
- Feller led Denver in shots taken in the season opener with three. Three more Pioneers had two shots (graduate student Camryn MacMillan, junior McKenna Dannenhauer and Goodrich).
- MacMillan made her return to the field for the first time since February 26, 2021, after missing the majority of the spring 2021 season and the entire fall 2021 season due to injury.
- Freshman Lily O'Grady made her collegiate debut, entering Thursday's game in the 35th minute and again in the 68th minute.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS:
This will be the first meeting between Denver and Weber State.
WSU opened its season at Colorado on Thursday, losing 0-5. The Wildcats combined for 10 shots, five of them on target including a team-leading three SOG from Saydree Bell.
WHAT'S NEXT:
DU travels to Utah on Thursday, August 25, for its first road match and first Power-5 matchup on the season. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. MT.
