ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The University of Denver women's golf team wrapped up its first tournament of the year on Tuesday, taking sixth at the Dick McGuire Invitational. The Pioneers jumped up two spots in the final round to finish with a two-day total of 877 (13-over).

Significant Stats:
- Ohio State separated from the rest of the field on the last day of competition, taking home the team title at 11-under, 11 shots ahead of SMU.
- Mayka Hoogeboom of Kent State received individual medalist honors with a 208 (8-under) total for 54 holes.
- DU picked up Power 5 victories over Iowa, Kansas State, Northwestern, Kansas, Southern California and Texas Tech.
- The Pioneers were effective on the par 4 holes, posting a 4.06 average which led the field.
Inside the Round for the Pioneers:

Anna Zanusso moved up four spots on individual leader board on Tuesday, tying for fourth place at 3-under. The Italian was consistent over the tournament, going par-or-better in every round. She recorded only two bogies during three rounds for the entire tournament.

Alyson Bean wrapped up her tournament tied for 23rd, down one spot from day one. Bean posted a 3-over for her three rounds of play.

Anna Krekling tied for 32nd at 4-over (73-73-74).

Katarina Drocarova ended her first tournament of the season tied for 49th at 9-over.

Clara Gestsdottir finished up tied for 67th at 12-over.
