BOULDER, Colorado – Despite leading in time of possession and shots, the University of Denver women's soccer team fell 0-2 to Colorado on Saturday to conclude its non-conference schedule.
COACH'S NOTES:
From head coach Jeff Hooker: "We had as good of chances as anybody and if one goes off the post and in, it's a totally different score, but that's soccer. But I was super proud of them not getting down on themselves. When they were talking as a group at halftime, it was nothing but positive, and that's a sign of a good team.
"There was fight in us for 90 minutes, and we're going to take the good side of that and move onto conference play next weekend."
