LAST TIME OUT:
Denver opened its Summit League schedule with a 2-0 shutout victory over North Dakota State at home on Friday, September 23. Senior Hannah Gallegos and sophomore Delaney McGowan scored less than two minutes apart midway through the first half (31st minute and 33rd minute) to put DU up going into halftime, and redshirt senior Nerea Arrazola sealed the clean sheet with two second-half saves.

QUICK HITS:
  • Friday's win moved DU to 7-2-1 in Summit League openers, which includes three consecutive 2-0 wins. Denver's current all-time record in Summit League play is now 63-13-4.
  • Arrazola now has three shutouts on the season, moving her career total to 23, which is fifth most in Denver history and two away from a tie for fourth.
  • Four Denver defenders have been involved in the team's last three goals, starting with Gallegos netting Friday's game winner. Sophomore Riley Baker and junior Jordan Crockett assisted on DU's goals on Friday while junior Megan Prazich had the assist on the game winner against Colorado State on September 11.
  • More than half of the student-athletes on Denver's roster have at least one point this season, led by graduate student Sami Feller with nine points.
  • DU set a new Denver Soccer (men's or women's) single-match attendance record on Friday with 1,837 fans. It is behind only a men's and women's doubleheader on September 21, 2019.
SCOUTING THE FIGHTING HAWKS:
North Dakota began league play with a scoreless draw at Omaha on Friday, getting a match-high four saves from goalkeeper Madi Livingston. Irene Jirasevijinda and Sarah McCracken lead UND with two goals each this season.

Denver is 6-0-0 all-time against North Dakota including a 6-0 win in their most recent meeting (October 22, 2021, at UND). North Dakota has traveled to Denver just once in a 1-0 DU win on October 14, 2018.
