ALBUQUERQUE – University of Denver men's golf fifth-year player
Carson Griggs made some personal history on Saturday, notching his first collegiate career win at the Tucker Invitational. Griggs shot an 11-under total in three rounds to take home individual medalist honors as the Pioneers placed eighth as a team.

Significant Stats:
- San Diego State won the team title at 16-under.
- Griggs did his damage on the par 3 and par 4 holes, shooting a combined 7-under, best in the field.
Inside the Round for the Pioneers:
- Griggs was unfazed by the challenging course, jumping up three spots on the final day with a 5-under (67). He highlighted his day with an eagle on the hole no. 1.

Jack Dozer ended his tournament tied for 53rd at 7-over (74-77-72).

Esteban Missura tied for 62nd after firing at 79 on the final day to finish at 9-over (225).

Brady Arnett wrapped up the day tied for 71st.

Matt Spaulding closed out the round tied for 94th.
