DENVER – The University of Denver hockey team will make four appearances on national television on CBS Sports Network during the 2023-24 season, the National Collegiate Hockey Conference announced on Thursday.
Denver's four games are the most in the conference, with no other team appearing in more than two contest. CBS Sports Network will also broadcast all three games of the NCHC Frozen Faceoff on March 22-23 at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.
The Pioneers' four games are Jan. 12 when they host St. Cloud State and road outings on Jan. 26 at North Dakota, Feb. 16 at Minnesota Duluth and March 8 at Colorado College. Colorado College, Minnesota Duluth, North Dakota, St. Cloud State and Western Michigan will have two games televised each, while Omaha and Miami will both have one outing on CBSSN.
To accommodate CBS Sports' broadcast schedule, several of DU's start times have been adjusted: Jan. 26 at North Dakota is now at 6:30 p.m. MT (7:30 p.m. CT local), Feb. 16 at Minnesota Duluth is at 7 p.m. MT (8 p.m. CT local) and March 8 at Colorado College is at 8 p.m. MT.
Games on CBSSN are exclusive and will not be carried on NCHC.tv. All remaining home and conference games for the Pioneers will be broadcasted on NCHC.tv. Denver's regional broadcast schedule on Altitude Sports will be announced in the near future.
