Arky Named Swimming and Diving Assistant Coach

Two-time NCAA Championship qualifier joins coaching staff

DENVER – The University of Denver men's and women's swimming and diving programs have named Natalie Arky an assistant coach, head coach Alicia Hicken-Franklin announced on Thursday.

"I am so excited to have Natalie working with our team," Hicken-Franklin said. "Natalie brings competitiveness and an understanding on how to compete at the national level. She has a lot to give to our swimmers & divers and also perspective for our coaching staff. Awesome to have a Pioneer legend coaching our team!"

As a student-athlete, Arky qualified for the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships twice, in each of the last two seasons. Last winter, Arky finished 40th in the 200 back, 47th in the 100 back and 48th in the 100 fly at the championships.

Arky's myriad of awards included being named the Summit League Women's Swimmer of the Year and Summit League Championship MVP in 2023. Arky was a two-time Summit League Swimmer of the Year overall, garnering the honor in 2022 as well.
