DENVER – The University of Denver men's and women's swimming and diving programs have named Natalie Arky an assistant coach, head coach Alicia Hicken-Franklin announced on Thursday.

"I am so excited to have Natalie working with our team," Hicken-Franklin said. "Natalie brings competitiveness and an understanding on how to compete at the national level. She has a lot to give to our swimmers & divers and also perspective for our coaching staff. Awesome to have a Pioneer legend coaching our team!"
 
As a student-athlete, Arky qualified for the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships twice, in each of the last two seasons. Last winter, Arky finished 40^th in the 200 back, 47^th in the 100 back and 48^th in the 100 fly at the championships.
 
Arky's myriad of awards included being named the Summit League Women's Swimmer of the Year and Summit League Championship MVP in 2023. Arky was a two-time Summit League Swimmer of the Year overall, garnering the honor in 2022 as well.
