SAINT PAUL, MN --The Denver volleyball team defeated the St. Thomas (MN) Tommies 3-1 (25-17, 25-19, 22-25, 25-21) Thursday on the road.
The win moved the Pioneers' record to 5-8 overall and 4-1 in Summit play.
The Pioneers were led by a double-double from Cassie Davis, who registered 12 kills and a career-high 14 digs on the day. Cadi Boyer also added 13 kills to help the attack. On the defensive end, Gianna Bartalo chipped in for with a season-high 20 digs alongside five blocks from Boyer.
