DENVER, CO --The Denver women's basketball team kept Colorado Christian to just 20 percent from deep on the way to an 81-59 win over the Cougars at home on Tuesday.

Denver kept widening that lead, expanding it to 70-46 before going on a 5-0 run, finished off by Counsel's three, to grow the lead to 75-46 with 6:05 to go in the contest. The Cougars narrowed the margin before the game was over, but the Pioneers finished strong to earn the 81-59 win.
