SIOUX FALLS, S.D.  –University of Denver women's golf team senior Anna Zanusso has been named the TicketSmarter Peak Golfer of the Week by the Summit League in a release on Thursday. 

For Zanusso, this marks the sixth time in her career she has won the award, and second of the spring season this year.

Denver continued its hot play this spring, taking fifth at The Show in the Desert in Las Vegas on Tuesday.

Zanusso led the way for the Crimson and Gold with a season best runner-up finish at the event with a score of 7-under (209).

The Pioneers are back in action for the Westbrook Invitational in Peoria, Ariz. On Feb. 26 for rounds one and two.
