PEORIA, ARIZ. – The University of Denver women's golf team, led by a career day from
Alyson Bean, placed third at the Westbrook Invitational on Monday. The Pioneers had a three-round total of 10-under.
Course Information
- Westbrook Village Golf Club
- Par 72
- 6,248 yards
- 14 teams (four, including Denver, ranked in the top 50 according to Golfstat)
Significant Stats:
- No. 49 Nebraska won the tournament at 21-under as a team, seven strokes ahead of the next closest team.
- Bean finished tied for first at 9-under for the tournament after posting a career-best 65 for the graduate student. The win was the first in her career.
- The Pioneers picked up nine head-to-head wins over Power-5 schools.
Inside the Round for the Pioneers:
- Bean played bogey-free golf all day, racking up seven birdies on the round. The 65 was the lowest round of her five-year career for the Pioneers.

Anna Zanusso tied for 17th at 2-under. The senior picked up another par-or-better round with a final-day total of 71.

Anna Krekling tied for 39th at 4-over.

Emma Bryant and
Clara Gestsdottir each tied for 49th at 6-over.
