DENVER – The University of Denver gymnastics team will be a No. 4 seed when it hosts the 2023 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Regional Championships in Magness Arena on March 30 – April 2, 2023.
The NCAA revealed the 2023 field during the National Collegiate Women's Gymnastics Selection Show on Monday, during which DU learned which teams and individuals will travel to Denver for the four-day event.
No. 13-ranked Denver received a bye in the first round and will compete in the NCAA Regional Second Round on Friday, March 31, at 7 p.m. MT

Top two finishing teams from each of Friday's two sessions
The top two teams in the NCAA Regional Final on Sunday, April 2, will advance to the NCAA National Championships in Fort Worth, Texas, on April 13-15.
Additionally, DU will also welcome individuals from George Washington, Iowa State and Northern Illinois. Individual qualifiers will compete during Friday's second-round meets with the opportunity to advance to NCAA Nationals as all-around or event specialist qualifiers.

Denver is coming off a record-setting regular season in which numerous program records were set including its all-time team score (198.150 on March 5). Junior
Jessica Hutchinson was named the Big 12 Gymnast of the Year for the second year running while graduate student
Lynnzee Brown is a finalist for the prestigious AAI Award. The duo combined for three perfect 10.0s in 2023.
This is the first time since 2011 and the fifth time overall that Denver will host NCAA Regionals. It will be the first time DU will host the competition under its current multi-day format.
Denver was originally slated to host NCAA Regionals in 2020 when the NCAA postseason was prematurely canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The University of Denver joins the University of Oklahoma, the University of Pittsburgh and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) as hosts this season.
Five times, Denver has advanced to the NCAA National Championships as a team, most recently in 2019 when DU finished a historic fourth overall.
