DENVER – The University of Denver women's golf program has set its 2023-24 competition schedule, highlighted by the 2023 Ron Moore Intercollegiate at the University of Denver Golf Club at Highlands Ranch, head coach
Martha Richards announced on Thursday.
Denver will open the season in New Mexico at the Dick McGuire Invitational (Sept. 11-12) before heading to Vanderbilt a couple of weeks later for the Mason Rudolph Invitational (Sept. 22-24).
The lone home event on the calendar will take place October 6-8 at the University owned course in Highlands Ranch. DU will then round out the four-tournament fall slate in California at the 2023 Stanford Intercollegiate, hosted by Dr. Condoleezza Rice.
Following a three-month layoff, Denver will open the spring half of the campaign at the FAU Paradise Invitational in Boca, Raton, Florida (Feb. 5-6). Just a week later, the Pioneers will flip coasts and compete at the 2024 San Diego State Classic (Feb. 14-15).
Denver will return to California to open March at the Juli Inkster Invitational in Fairfax, California, hosted by San Francisco and San Jose State.
The pre-championship portion of the schedule will wrap up with trips to Arizona for the Ping ASU Invitational (March 28-30) and the 2024 Chevron Silverado Showdown in Napa, California, a tournament hosted by Colorado and Oregon.
