Denver played to a 1-1 draw with Omaha in its regular-season home finale on Thursday, October 17. Redshirt senior
Addisyn Hyrup opened the scoring with a strike from more than 25 yards out that dipped under the crossbar and into the far upper corner at the last minute to give Denver a 1-0 lead in the 26
th minute. Omaha drew level in the 35
th minute with a scramble inside the box, and neither team was able to find a winner in the second half.
QUICK HITS:
- Denver has secured one of six spots in the 2024 Summit League Women's Soccer Championship. The regular-season championship and final tournament seeding is still up for grabs entering Thursday's match.
- DU enters Thursday's match with an 88-16-15 record in Summit League play including 40-10-7 in road matches.
- Senior Ella Frost is tied for the Summit League lead and is tied for No. 14 nationally in game winners (4) this season.
- She is also tied for second in the League in goals (7) and points (16)
- Sophomore Michaela McGowan leads the League in assists (7) and is tied for sixth in points (13).

SCOUTING THE JACKRABBITS:
South Dakota State earned a 3-0 win at North Dakota its final regular-season road match of the year, seeing goals from Katherine Jones, Xehlia Salanoa and Adrianne Agbayani. Four more Jackrabbits added an assist apiece. So far this year, Katelyn Beulke leads the team in goals (6) and points (15), and Jones owns a team-best five assists.
SDSU leads the head-to-head with Denver, 7-4-5, though DU captured the win in their most recent meeting (4-2 in Denver on October 5, 2023). The last time the team played in Brookings (September 30, 2022), they finished a scoreless draw.
WHAT'S NEXT:
Denver closes the 2024 regular season at South Dakota on Sunday, October 27. Final seeding for the 2024 Summit League Women's Soccer Championship will be determined following Sunday's slate of league matches.
