GRAND FORKS, ND --The Denver volleyball team tallied a .304 hitting percentage en route to a five-set win (24-26, 25-20, 23-25, 25-23, 15-13) against the North Dakota Fighting Hawks on Saturday in Grand Forks.
The win improved the Pioneers' record to 6-8 overall and 1-3 in Summit action.
The Pioneers offense was paced by Cassie Davis, who finished with 27 kills on the day while accumulating a hitting percentage of .478. Ava Reynolds added 17 and Jamia Johnson chipped in with 10 as part of balanced Denver attack. Defensively, DU had three players reach double figures in digs, including Alayna Finucan's 18, 10 from Emersen Werger, and 10 more from Briley Decker.
