SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – University of Denver men's basketball sophomore guard DeAndre Craig has been named to the 2024-25 Summit League Men's Basketball Preseason All-League Second Team, the conference office announced on Tuesday ahead of the league's media day in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Craig played in all 34 games a year ago for the Crimson and Gold, averaging 6.6 points and 2.6 rebounds in 23.4 minutes per game. The Chicago product added 85 assists against just 40 turnovers to go along with 35 steals. Craig peaked late in the season, finishing in double figures in each of his last four contests and 11 times no the year. In Denver's three games in the Summit League Tournament, Craig had 13 points in the quarterfinal, 15 and five assists in the semifinal and 12 and seven assists in the championship game.

Denver will open the regular season on Monday, November 4 at Stanford. Tipoff on ACC Network Xtra is set for 2 p.m. MT/1 p.m. PT.
