Sternicki Departs Men’s Basketball Roster to Return to Poland

Freshman forward Tymo Sternicki set to return home due to personal reasons

DENVER – University of Denver freshman forward Tymo Sternicki is no longer a member of the DU men's basketball program and will be withdrawing as a student from the University of Denver effective immediately to return home to Poland due to personal reasons, head coach Jeff Wulbrun announced on Tuesday.  

"I understand and respect Tymo's decision to return home to Poland, and on behalf of the entire program, we wish him nothing but the best going forward," Wulbrun said.  

In other roster news, Wulbrun announced that freshman forward Loch Cunningham and sophomore guard Keean Lloyd are scheduled to redshirt during the 2024-25 men's basketball season.
