DENVER – The University of Denver men's basketball program has signed shooting guard Trajan Thompson in the 2024 early signing period, head coach Jeff Wulbrun announced on Wednesday.
Thompson is coming off a trip to the North Carolina 4A state title game in 2024, leading the team with 23 points in the championship tilt. The shooting guard was an all-conference selection in his junior season.
"Trajan gives us a big guard with great length, size, and a wide-range skill set," Wulbrun said. "I love his versatility, which allows him to score the ball on all three levels effectively and defend multiple positions. He comes from a very successful high school program with a great tradition, something we certainly value in our recruiting. He is an elite-level student, who is a great fit for our culture and core values and is a player with tremendous potential to impact the game in a variety of ways. We are thrilled to welcome him to our DU program."
