For the third match in a row, Sancho Arbizu won in straight sets while dropping five or fewer games, putting Denver within a point of the overall win. He earned the match's first break for a 3-1 lead in the first, his second of five consecutive games to finish the set. He traded breaks to begin the second set but again claimed a 3-1 lead on his way to a 6-2 win.

Moments later, Papajcik had a quick break lead in his first set but found himself level at 2-2. He broke again in the set's penultimate game and served it out for 6-4. He broke again in the first game of the second set and added an insurance break in the fifth game, eventually sealing it at 6-2.
Wisconsin got on the board with a win at No. 4 singles, though Sallay rallied back from a break down in the second set before giving up one last break late.
The day's top singles match ended in a 10-point tiebreak in place of the third set. Herrero Cuesta jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead in the first set before turn it into a 6-3 win, though his opponent would take the second set.
