Denver holds a 7-3 record against the Cardinals

DENVER – The No. 4 Denver Pioneers women's lacrosse team faces Louisville in its season opener on Friday at 3 p.m. MT at Peter Barton Stadium.

Tickets this season start at $13 and the game will be broadcasted on DenverPioneers.com.

The Pioneers are the reigning Big East Conference regular season and tournament champions after posting a 22-1 overall record. Denver's only loss last season came to eventual National Champion Northwestern, 15-7, in the national semifinals.

DU scored five unanswered goals to defeat Louisville on the road in 2023.

After Friday's game, the Pioneers travel to Ann Arbor Michigan to take on No. 12 Michigan on Feb. 17, before returning to Peter Barton for a pair of home games against Ohio State on Feb. 23 and San Diego State on Feb. 25.
