DENVER – The No. 4 Denver Pioneers women's lacrosse team faces Louisville in its season opener on Friday at 3 p.m. MT at Peter Barton Stadium.
Tickets this season start at $13 and the game will be broadcasted on DenverPioneers.com.
The Pioneers are the reigning Big East Conference regular season and tournament champions after posting a 22-1 overall record. Denver's only loss last season came to eventual National Champion Northwestern, 15-7, in the national semifinals.
DU scored five unanswered goals to defeat Louisville on the road in 2023.
Denver is 7-3 all-time against the LU Cardinals and has won each of the last six matchups, including last year's season opener when it earned a 5-4 victory on February 10, 2023.
After Friday's game, the Pioneers travel to Ann Arbor Michigan to take on No. 12 Michigan on Feb. 17, before returning to Peter Barton for a pair of home games against Ohio State on Feb. 23 and San Diego State on Feb. 25.
