DENVER – The University of Denver men's lacrosse program's former student-athletes in the National Lacrosse League combined for 54 points in the 14^th week of the 2024 NLL season.
 
Mark Matthews led the Toronto Rock to a pair of wins, producing a nine-point night on Friday with a goal and eight assists, followed by two goals and six assists 24 hours later in a two-goal win at San Diego. Matthews reached the 1,000 career point milestone on Friday night, the 15^th player in NLL history to do so.
 
Alex Simmons and Ethan Walker also had productive weekends in a six-goal win for Albany, finishing with seven (3-4) and five (3-2) points, respectively.
